Playscape Smocks Study

This was a mini-study I was asked to complete in the first half of my research and evaluation internship at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Interested staff were planning to buy new smocks in the first quarter of 2024, and wanted visitors' opinions on the current smocks being used at the time and if they wanted a different style of smock. Below are the summative report and the instruments I created for this study.

How I Contributed

  • Conducted 25 exit interviews with visitors

  • Conducted 25 observations in the exhibit using a stopwatch for timing

  • Created the Excel data sheet and analyzed all 50 data entries

  • Created a summative report using Word and Excel for data visualization
